The basketball game began with the veferee’s whistle-a championship match between the team of the Agriculture College and ours on our playground.Every student of our college crouded around the court,cheering for us.
I played the left forward position .Like the other boys of our team, I was nervous because our coach bad ordered us to defeat this guest team,the champion Unfortunately,the first shot failed.My heart nearly leaped out of my chest and my hands were trembling.The spectators seethed with excitement.Soon after my second shot fell into the basket.The referee whistled the end of the game.We were wild with joy.I was tossed into the air many times by my team members.That night I couldn’t get a wink of sleep!
